Body Project was a set of three modular, portable structures exploring the idea of “self as space.” Pink Tent was a reconfigured dome tent meant to represent a nomadic home/hearth filled with personal relics of photo albums, addictive vices, music, and trash. Made of industrial denim, Station explored an aesthetic of mysterious deep city spaces. Spiral was a participatory, ego-less structure incorporating translucent fabric and conduit spiral; it functioned to re-frame wilderness landscapes by reflecting light and allowed space for group construction and movement. These pieces were installed and documented in various urban and wilderness sites such as the Los Angeles River, Joshua Tree, White Sands National Monument, and Venice Beach between 2008 and 2010.
